For the first time and as an experiment: NEWBASE will be exhibiting at the 100th German Librarians of 7 to 10 June in Berlin to participate.
Although the theme of the Congress "Libraries of the future - the future of our libraries, we will rather look to the past: with NEWBASE software for archiving (historical) newspapers and magazines. What
for media monitoring companies around the globe quickly and works well, should also work for large libraries and library scanning service. And in fact, NEWBASE software already in daily use of the libraries SABC in Johannesburg, South Africa. So why do not we show other libraries, such as the NEWBASE press archive and our worldwide experience in item-recognition, segmentation, and outsourcing can benefit.

Qutb said is nothing new. According to the Orthodox doctrine is based on the state power of Allah. Rulers and followers of Mohammed on earth is the Caliph, whose duty it is the law of Allah - known as Shariah - on earth a reality.

After the riots in Egypt is stirring in other countries, resistance to existing power relations. The circumstances are not always comparable solutions, the protests, however, the demand for greater freedom. Reason enough for the West to support the protest movements generally more than before?
The West should stay out there to complete. For any accident is pushed to the west. Does the west country, then the Government of the Governor of the West. Roland Shirk did it again. He posted an article on jihad watch, which is a cheap propaganda piece filled with inaccuracies and outright mistakes. This time he felt like giving his take on Europe.
"This seems to be truer in Europe than in America; on this side of the pond, we treasure a deep-seated suspicion of authority figures that often serves us well. (Though it sometimes encourages us to put faith in anti-vaccination crusaders, revisionists who insist that World War II never happened, and "truthers" who claim that the World Trade Towers still stand--but are merely being occluded by a Zionist hologram.) Sadly, while many Europeans are somewhat more vulnerable to official propaganda (and their political systems are less democratic, thanks to the oligarchic power of the European Union), they are also the very people most in danger from Muslim aggression."

Well well, he wasn't very sure about his blanket statement about authority figures since he felt compelled to add a long expose in brackets, which basically refutes his own claim. Let me remind our American friends that the American constitution had to be changed in order to prevent the American people from reelecting the same president over and over again until he dies in office (F.D. Roosevelt). This behaviour doesn't really bear witness of a "deep-seated suspicion of authority figures". On the contrary, it seems to indicate the desire to have a strong authoritative leader.
Now , I don't blame Roland for being an ignoramus about European political systems. But then he should refrain from making comments about European Politics. His statement about the European Union being an oligarchic power is frankly outrageous. The oligarchy (from Greek ὀλιγαρχία , oligarkhía [ 1 ] ) is a form of power structure in which power effectively rests with a small number of people. These people could be distinguished by royalty, wealth, family ties, corporate, or military control. Last time I checked, every single member state of the European Union were democratic. The European Union ( EU ) is an economic and political union of 27 member states , which are located primarily in Europe . [7] Then, there is a European Parliament, which represents the people of Europe. The European Parliament together with the representatives of each member state (council of the European Union) effectively legislate in the European Union. In the US, the Senate and parliament effectively legislate, wherefore it is called democracy. The political power in Europe rests on the people of Europe and not an oligarchy.

Let us look at French history;-) 1830 Civil uprising, establishment of constitutional monarchy. 1848 Revolution, proclamation of the second French Republic, 1852 Louis-Napoleon Bonaparte proclaimed emporer, the second empire is established. 1870 Franco-Prussian war.; first treaty of versaille, the Third Republic is established.
What about German History? 1848 Revolution, establishement of parliamentary in Frankfurt failed. 1864 Prussian/Danish War. 1866 Austria-Prussian War; 1870 Franco-Prussian war,...
Italy? Oh, well, 1848 Revolution, Second and Third war of Italian Independence...
Then Vietnam a "minor conflict"? Considering that America is obsessed with this war and innumerable novels and movies have been produced about this war, this does sound a little hollow!

The total number of military personnel is approximately 347,000; Germany t he Bundeswehr employs 200,500 professional soldiers, 55,000 18–25 year-old conscripts who serve for at least six months under current rules, and 2,500 active reservists at any given time. Roughly 300,000 reservists are available to the Armed Forces and participate in defense exercises as well as deployments abroad .
Total U.S. military spending in 2008, more than $600 billion, was over 41% of global military spending and greater than the next fourteen largest national military expenditures combined. Well that's an achievement, but it is frankly crazy and the US is broke.
The European Nations are neither militarily nor economically "dependent" on the US. Next time the US needs military help in its military adventures, we'll just say: Oh, but we Europeans are "largely disarmed". How do you expect us to help you? Ha ha ha;-)
